Film-Line is an established and well-respected production company which has been listed by the Hollywood Reporter as being amongst "the ten hot houses in Germany". The company was founded in 1984 and is managed by its initiator, general manager and producer, Arno Ortmair. The company has excellent business relationships with leading media partners in Europe and the US.

Film-Line received several awards in Germany and Austria for the films "Troopers” (“Todfeinde") (Director: Oliver Hirschbiegel), “Silent Night, Holy Night" (“Das ewige Lied") (Director: Franz-Xaver Bogner), “Swabian Children" (“Schwabenkinder") (Director: Jo Baier).

Film-Line is located in Munich, with partner firms in Vienna and an acquisitions office in Los Angeles.

CEO & Manager Arno Ortmair has years of experience as a Production Manager and Producer of American and European feature and television movies for Columbia Pictures, Paramount Studios, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Productions, Hollywood Pictures, etc.

Arno Ortmair has produced successful and award-winning films such as:
